IT IS PROHIBITED TO RIDE ON THE SIDEWALK, UNLESS THERE IS A BIKE PATH OR IT IS EXPRESSLY INDICATED. In this case the speed cannot exceed 15km/hour. In pedestrian areas and streets, where there is no prohibited sign and there is a free passage of more than 3 meters, you are allowed to ride a bicycle, always taking into account the preference of pedestrians, keeping a 1 meter distance between you and maintaining a moderate speed of no more than 10m/hour or less.
BOTH ON THE ROAD AND ON BIKE LANES, RESPECT ALL STREET AND YIELD SIGNS. Warn others of your movements in advance by using your arms. Being predictable helps your safety and lets others know your direction. If you are unfamiliar with the city, plan your route before you begin. If you have doubts or you get lost, ask before making a risky decision.
To PARK THE BIKE there are specific parking installations throughout the city. Should there not be any available within 50 meters of your destination or if they are all occupied, you can lock the bike to urban furniture (except trees, lamp posts or building elements), provided you leave a 1,5 meter space free for pedestrians.
